Dallin's Room

Moving to San Diego was not as easy has we had hoped, we were "homeless" for about 3 weeks. I use "homeless" because thanks to wonderful friends and family we really weren't homeless, but we didn't get to move into our new townhome as quickly as we had planned. So as soon as we did get into our place we wanted to fix Dallin's room first so that the transition would be a bit easier. We asked him what color he wanted to paint his room and he said "red and orange". Scott was a bit reserved about painting his room red and orange but we did it anyway. So here are the pic's I promised to send months ago showing you Dallin's room. Enjoy!

I think it looks great and with the other walls different (solid) it really didn't look bad. Good choice Dallin!

I got to see this in person and it is awesome. I bet his room doesn't even get dark at night. Perfect for a little guy!

Love the color choice! Dallin has a great design ability in him. So bright and fun. You did a great job with the stripes.

That room is awesome! And I know, as have been in it and Dallin really loves his room. I was very happy that mommy and daddy let him have the colors he wanted. Wasn't too sure about the combination, but it worked out so well. Maybe I should let him pick out the colors for my bedroom. Ha!!

Hi April, I saw your blog from Tera's page. Remember us her neighbors. I still talk about you and Scott all the time to moms at church. I tell them how you two were the only reason Cole went to nursery and once you went back to BYU he stopped going. I loved that he would stand outside the nursery door until you would hold his hand and actually walk in with him. I think it gives some moms comfort that their kid is not the only one not wanting to be in nursery and on the other hand it makes them nervous that their kid will never go to nursery like Cole. Anyhow, he did go to Sunbeams on his own and now he is almost 8 in August and will be getting baptised in September. I am so glad to see that your family is growing and your boys look so sweet. Say hi to Scott and congratulations on your beautiful home. Love, The Hardy's
